this is so nostalgic for me, sometimes I get teary eyed. I was outside for all this shyt. I remember seeing ODB at Jones beach when they was 1st bubbling screaming at a nikka with a Boa Constrictor around his neck for having a serpent of Satan on his body.

That Greek shyt at Jones Breach is one of the livest events I ever been to. I have seen all type of rappers out there. I also seen some horrific crimes out there as well.

Soon as RZA said “Old Ass Pipes” I KNEW what time it was although I thought they’d save the actual flood for season 3.


Only thing I wish was that they would have kept the original story of how Masta Killa joined the group. Him staying up all night to write his verse while Killah Priest fell asleep would have, in my opinion, been a stronger statement on his determination and character.


The hypocrisy of ODB getting in Inspectah’s ass telling him “trust the Abbot” and then getting upset when it came to RZA handling HIS deal was indicative of the entire Clan’s eventual downfall. Even if you are right, its hard to get grown ass men to fall in line when they have their own ambitions.




The actor who plays Inspectah Deck did a GREAT job taking over for Joey Badass. In a lot of ways he’s a better fit and a very strong personality amongst the other actors.
