This sucks. Did you ever try to do a speed test like on speedtest.net? Is it every evening, or at any point of the day (evening may mean someone is stealing your internet and heavily downloading). If it´s all the time it´s the router or someone is stealing it, perhaps add a password/change it.

Perhaps also try repositioning or resetting your router (take out power plug, wait 30-60 seconds, put back in).
