I'm so goddamn tired of these +/- metrics. They do the same shyt with defense. You have people online arguing claiming that Jokic and Luka are good defenders due to metrics. No, not the eye test and because they are being hid on defense, but metrics that no one knows how it's calculated. Someone that's leading the team in rebounds, points, and shooting 55%, but has a worst +/- than someone shooting 1-6 with 4 turnovers and getting scored on at well. Exactly how does that work?

There's stats such as points of turnovers and points responsible that show Clark is having a bigger impact on her team without the Ace's taking advantage of the 4 TOs. Boston is a black hole on offense. She's getting it in the post and there's no movement from her actions. In contrast Fagbenle is able to get it inside and on the break to keep the pace going. It's just something she needs to work on with this new team compared to last year.
