Liberty guards were turnstiles on defense and bricklayers on offense. Meanwhile, the Aces guards were assassins on offense and brick walls on defense. Recipe for disaster for the Liberty.

The Liberty haven't lost back-to-back games all season, but it's not looking good right now for Game 2.

I don’t know what to make of the season series. I watched their last game which was actually close.

The season series, including the Commissioner's Cup, was 4 dominant wins (3 by the Liberty and 1 by the Aces) to 1 close game (the game you watched).

Damn, I just saw that the NY Liberty's first and currently last win in the WNBA Finals was in 1999. Crazy.


That win was a half-court buzzer-beater shot by Theresa Weatherspoon, so basically only by pure luck.

Nah, the Liberty better win Game 2 (and hopefully the series)
