Stacking the deck convos in the WNBA
Yeah you right, what the NBA and future players accomlished using the Olympics as a springboard was completely unnecessary and all gains were completely by coincidence.
Not 1...Not 2...Not 3...Not 4Just don't be surprised if them two and JuJu end up on the same team
Cool to see them get a road win against a decent team. I think putting copper on caitlin was a double edged sword for phoenix. Its the same reason flaujae couldnt have realistically done both in the tournament this year
They'd more than likely be a second apron teamJust don't be surprised if them two and JuJu end up on the same team
CC is turnover prone/a poor defender
she broke the one for most consecutive in a season not for most consecutive in a row CP3 still got that one
She can definitely be disruptive, but she suffers from what Luka and a lot of other white stars suffer from — slow foot speed. Against players that are decently quick, she'll often get blown-by. Her saving grace is that she has good defensive instincts, so she'll never be a truly poor defender.and if you watch the games, at least half of those turnovers are because her teammates can't handle the pass. sure, some are definitely on her (like a couple of early ones today), but the vast majority of them are because the other girls can't make the play.
also, the whole "poor defender" argument is terribly flawed. she's averaging 1.5 steals per game and 1 block per game ... she may not be the best defender, but she certainly isn't a "poor defender".
* Indiana just beat a team that has 3 Olympians and all defensive PG
* Last week LaChina said she's giving Angel the advantage for ROY because her team was in the playoffs. Does that argument now apply to Clark...Her team is currently in the playoffs.
* Indy is 3 games better than they were at the same time last season
