Went from edibles 2-3x a week to not doing any for over a month.
Last month was the last time I order some White Castle and took some edibles. In the morning, I woke up to a clear mind as normal, but my body was still partially high. It's hard to describe but all of my movements were fractals if that makes sense.
Like let's say the movement it takes to raise your hand and scratch your ear, normally it's one fluid movement, but mentally, I was able to register all the nuances so that it felt like 10 different steps being rolled into one. My uneducated guess was that something related to adrenaline didn't stop firing for my body and so it was on alert for no reason. I was hyper-sensitive to touch and randomly a lot better at dancing but it's a living hell when your senses are at attention when it doesn't need to be.
It's all fun and games when I was high, but when I was stone sober the next morning but couldn't shake the weird feeling, it started to get real. By the second day of still feeling the effects, I started to get nervous. By the third day, I started to get scared that this would be my new reality and that I permanently broke something.
Luckily, after another day or two, the sensitivity and fractal movements started to disappear.
The weirdest thing was that after I tripped too hard last time, I started lowering my dosage but still sticking to around 15mg 2-3x a week. With the trip I am talking about, I only took like 10 mg and yet had that experience. I'm not sure if I'm swearing off weed entirely, or just edibles or just taking a breather for a few weeks.
