Come on dude...US/Israel ran sorties and bombing campaigns against Iraq or Syria over the decades when they wanted to and people have big heads thinking Iran is that kind of cake walk? It's been almost 20 years since the Axis of Evil speech. They have literally been digging in and preparing for this shyt for almost a generation. Would we win in the end? Probably--but only if there is no ground war. But I think even the biggest cheerleaders for this war are going to have to pause long and hard when the body bags are counted.

Also I'm still not sold on delivering the Middle East from Iranian theocracy to Gulf theocracies is in our long term interest, but hey the last 30 years of US policy haven't exactly shown amazing foresight. Let's just play make believe as well that Russia and the PRC will just sit back and let this domino fall too.

on the low, low Iran would be a real good ally against Terrorist and could likely act as a moderate force in the region, the foundation is there for that. It’s what Obama was trying for.
