I'm not crying for this mofo, I mean besides fighting ISIS I can't think of any redeeming qualities from our point of view. But we know they got sleepers here and South America at minimum. If nothing goes down here I wouldn't be shock if the lit up an embassy in Brazil/Mexico like they did the Israelis in Argentina 20 years back. This is fukking real.

This is the perfect distraction from the impeachment tho. Trumps ego didn’t want the impeachment process to go through. The only good thing about if there is war that it will sink his 2020 te-election chances like the Titanic.

The US has been in the fortunate position of always having a war go well during election time. Without the fall of Atlanta, Lincoln might have lost the 1864 election and without positive momentum in Europe and Asia, who knows if FDR would have won in 1944. WWI, Spanish American War and all the other big ones did not overlap an election.
It depends on the president in charge. The Vietnam escalation sunk LBJ, Nixon was alright though even with Cambodia bombings.
