If there was any weight to the theory the plane was shot down by the States or a foreign country, Iranian state media would have every incentive to air it and they didn’t. Common sense.

I still think it’s a stretch. Aircraft having a faulty engine is much more likely. Especially seeing that video.

The flight was also delayed cause of technical issues.

Imo much more believable that they had technicians rig the plane, and specifically a Ukrainian one, to garner maximum sympathy and get Europeans to step in to calm everything. Doubt both scenarios though
