Fair enough, forgot season 6 was pretty piff, and the shane episodes were so damn good. When u say negan premier do you mean the last episode of season 6 with the cliff hanger or the first episode of 7? I loved the atmosphere and cinematography in last weeks episode so its still in probably my top ten.

I meant the premier, The last one of season 6 was dope seeing rick realise what the fukk he’d got himself into when he saw how deep they were, but the bullshyt cliffhanger soured that whole episode, showing him beat abes head in the end then fade to black would have been so much better than the cheap fukkery we got

Exactly how i feel. Then in the season 7 premiere they easily could have done the glenn death to completely shock people (thinking abe was gonna be the only one to meet Lucille)

seeing this thread pinned made me go back and catch up, i dropped out in season 7...completely skipped 8, binged 9 and am now on ep 6 of season 10...this show is better this way, but i'll be caught up to end season 10 with yall. the show definitely improved over the bullshyt that was season 7/8, but they need to end it soon

BTW, as much praise as these UK actors get for accents, Alpha gotta have the most hamfisted, shytty southern accent ever. I mean if she was playing the wife of a south carolina slave master, this might work, but it's WOAT
The writing and inconsistency in season 8 was so fukking bad
I thought it was cool, nothing really exciting but was cool to see, they were gonna do this episode at some point, better now then right after it starts to heat up so it doesn’t kill any momentum or piss of fans like it did with the governor backstory episodes just as the prison battle was gonna happen
