the zombie bite thing is just one of the worst conceived parts of the lore. it really doesnt make much sense if you think too much about it.

Sure it does. The zombie bite is an incurable, quick-acting infection that causes death. They can't treat it, so sever the limb, or die. They don't die from the bite, they die from the infection it causes. We've seen people last a few days after a single bite. It's the most straight-forward thing on the show.

And I know I bytched in previous seasons about this but still not understanding how Alpha (and the whisperers) just wearing a mask is enough for the Walkers to think she is one of them. Remember the days of brehs covering themselves in Walker GUTS to create the same scent.

Anywho EP was fire. Beta in the cut is def a scary sight

to Judy Grimes the young gawdess with the clean shot and even Rosita for trying to put in work against him.

Darryl's vision got smoked though. Gonna be looking like Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge come next episode

kirkman's explanation wasnt very satisfactory. the walkers arent injecting anything you dont already have, and if it is a simple bacterial infection, like a komodo dragon's mouth, new zombies who have only existed for a few seconds are somehow just as full of bacteria as a long decayed zombie which just doesnt make any sense.

I understand your point, but consider it like this - the virus is activated/mutated once you die, so essentially it is a different strand of what you currently carry. You naturally carry ZombieA which is dormant/non-lethal, until your death (natural or otherwise). You die and it mutates into ZombieB+ Each bite is a walker giving you an infection (Sickness Z+) that's terminal. So the bite isn't them giving you the zombie virus, or changing it, the bite is just some other ish that kills you.
