I’m not sure as I don’t know all the details as I don't read the comics, I just know the general outline of where the story is headed the same way I knew about Alexandria, saviours, whispers ect, but I’d imagine so given how the community is 50,000 deep with its own government and army/helicopters, they’re on the road for a while too and they travel all throughout Pittsburgh ect. To get there so they have some good material there too, a lot of people prefer this show when they’re on the move/in new territory

It’s in Ohio. The only group they show them interacting with are the communities that Rick and co. Belong to. They don’t have helicopters or anything like that, just horses. It’s a built up community in the comics. Definitely the most advance community that’ll you see on the show as far as actually being reminiscent of what civilization was like before everything collapsed
