Man I've been deployed overseas in Europe too long. Went to an electronic store earlier and they had some LG, Sony, and Samsung displays. But nothing super new but mannnnn, those OLED and QLEDS are

:banderas:

The standouts were the Samsung 60T? and the LGC6 or C7, both 55". The Samsung was much brighter and clearer, it stood out the most.

Cant wait to see the newer joints in the Military Exchange when I get back, they stay having sales. :ahh:

Yep. Individual pixels can be turned off resulting in deep blacks that you simply can’t get in LCD or LED panels.
At least until microled. We're back in the mid 2000s again. OLEDs are plasma screen tvs and LED tvs are LCD. Like plasma, oleds have burn in risk even though the picture quality is deeper. LEDs can give you more potential brightness and vibrancy with color. Micro OLED will have the strengths of both and weaknesses of neither but its at least 3 years away for the public and will potentially be more expensive than both.
