What vitamins & supplements are you taking at the moment?

I don't have a set regimen, I just buy lots (and I mean LOTS) of different products & rotate them continuously.

At the moment I'm taking or have recently taken: Krill Oil, Holy Basil, Antioxidant Berry Blend, Alpha Lipoic Acid + Acetyl-L Carnitine, Milk Thistle, Green Tea, Cinnamon, Horny Goat Weed + Maca Root, Turmeric, 5-HTP/ Melatonin/ GABA/ L-Theanine, Marine Greens (contains Kelp, Spirulina, Algae, etc), Cocoa, Grape Seed Extract, + various vitamin/ whole food blends

Bear in mind, I don't take everything every day - I just enjoy experimenting & trying different supplements, always keeping a stash on hand.

Feel free to drop any questions, and share what you are taking or have tried in the past.

Disclaimer: This was during my UD2 cycle.

Try to apply reason why you take what you take.

Vitamin D: I'm not white.

Zinc and Magnesium before bed: 1) sleep better 2) helps lethargy on low cal days (<1200)

Calcium Citrate: 1) bone health 2) fat loss aid (minimal). I don't get in dietary calcium on low cal days, better than nothing.

Fish oil: You should know why.

Multivitamin: You should know why.

Caffeine: What doesn't it aid in?

EGCg: Helps up metabolism minimally. I take 1 tablet with caffeine (usually a tagalong with EC). More is not better. Effects of encapsulated green tea and Guarana extr... [Br J Nutr. 2005] - PubMed - NCBI

Bronkaid: For the ephedrine. Taken with caffeine

Yohimbine HCL: For the alpha-2 antagonizing effect (mobilizes stubborn body fat). Taken before fasted cardio with caffeine.

L-Tyrosine: Tyrosine is the precursor for epinephrine, norepinehrpine and dopamine. This makes it potentiate comounds that rely on those. Some ppl find it helps a lot, others don't. Gave it a try, usually take it with EC or YC. It's aight :manny:

5-HTP: Low carb, low cal dieting has its downsides: increased CNS output, reduction in serotonin levels, rise in cortisol. This fukks up sleep for some people. Unfortunately, I'm one of them. Read about 5-HTP, decided to give it a try. Converts to serotonin in the brain. Just started taking it at night on low cal days, far away from the multivitamin (specifically b6). Can't tell if it helps yet :manny:

Everything isn't taken every day. A lot of these are situational.

Great call on the 5-HTP. You will notice it working soon. I take the exact same stuff you do, Natrol 100mg TR.

Be careful with the Yohimbine though. I take it occasionally ONLY because it's usually an ingredient in libido formulas. The consensus opinion is it's not recommended.

Ive been thinking about getting a few, right now the only thing i take is melatonin before bed which probably doesn't help anything but me falling asleep. If you could only get 3 supplements, which 3 would you choose? I am on a budget :sadbron: and could only cop a few.

Are you bodybuilding? I don't know much about weight lifting supplements.

But if you are looking for 3 to take for general health & wellness I definitely have some suggestions

Been using it during cardio for about a month now, gradually increasing to full doses. Just gotta be smart and not take a ridiculous amount. Think its 0.2mg/kg bodyweight. I take 15mg with 200g caffeine.

It helps fat loss in low BF individuals. I'd say its not recommended if you suffer from anxiety or have heart problems lol. shyt is potent.
