How would that even work tho? With the character firmly entrenched in the MCU.

If it wasn't for Marvel, we would be on a 4th or 5th iteration of spider man. Hollands Spiderman will be the longest running live action spider man since Toby McGuire and will surpass him after this year.


All Sony is doing is riding Marvels coattails at this point and honestly, integrating Spiderman so much within the MCU was probably Marvels biggest mistake because Sony is never going to give him up.

That’s how venom was portrayed in the lethal protector comic. That’s how venom was portrayed mostly when they made him an anti hero. Even in that Spider-Man video game from 2000.


Anyway I’m torn on this. On one hand, I like andy Serkis and want to see what he does with this. On the other hand, it’s two characters I do not like on screen for 2 hrs
