Playing the GOW3 Remaster has me kind of discouraged to get this one. Its fun, but it looks exactly the way I remember it on PS3. IMO the best remaster has been the MCC. Yes, even with all of it's launch flaws, once they got everything worked out for the most part, the game is great.
Quite frankly that's an insult to compare Gow remaster with the uncharted collection. They did a lot of work on this one. God of War is literally JUST a 1080p 60fps upgrade. No new nothing.
If you're unsure, watch this.
It's not a simple uprez port. They improved the controls, they reworked a lot of assets and created new ones, the character model of Drake in UC1 among a lot more. Uncharted 1 looks way better now.

I'm not making a statement about whether or not the UC is worth it. I haven't play it. I'm saying that my past experience with the most recent remaster in my possession isn't a great one. You guys tell me if it's worth it. I'll check it out. I just don't see myself paying $48 for these remasters anymore if all it's going to feel like is a 1 to 1 port.
That's because GOW3 remaster was very plain. They didn't add anything new. plus you have to remember it was a pretty end of gen game so it wouldst r really look that much better without significant visual changes. Literally the most basic and simple remaster. Uncharted 1 looks massively improved because it's so old. Id say go for it.

Just beat UC1. Decent game.
Started up UC2 and man it just feels good seeing the improvements and whatnot that the leap from 1 to 2 had with the remastered goodness on top. shyt looks so great and it just feels right playing it from the start. That demo threw me off but now playing it in order and in context it still is as classic as it was 6 yrs ago.

I heard that was like a notch below a difficulty that ND's playtesters couldn't beat. I just beat it on crushing and it pretty much involve getting headshots and timing your shots.shyt is impossible

Uncharted 1 is alright. It's much better now in this remaster than the PS3 version. I played it for authenticity and I kind of dug it.
UC2 though is wayyyy better. Control wise alone it feels so much more smooth. Also the demo that's on the PS4 must be an old build because when I tried it I felt the controls and such were slippery and loose but the retail game feels really smooth.
Just pick this up from Best Buy. Traded in boring ass go to point A or Point B Metal Gear
