We aren't getting Knox. Time to move on. Would be nice if Roy can get Brooks, especially if Bradley leaves.

Hahaha....damn, bro. That's one helluva turn around from this morning. I figured we weren't getting Knox after I read that interview at the Mickey D's game. He didn't sound too enthused when speaking on UNC. If we whiff on Knox and Tony leaves, this will be a tough year for us in the paint. Roy will have to abandon his normal "inside/outside" philosophy in order for us to compete. Kenny, Brandon, and Luke shot have to be almost automatic next year if we're gonna compete. The two bigs we're bringing in are straight projects and we can't rely on them for offense. I don't understand Tony's move at all, if it's true. Never been a fan of the "6th man" leaving early. You haven't even been game planned for yet. If McAdoo had left his freshman year, he'd be a huge stain on Roy/UNC resume as far as lottery pick busts go. Tony should come back and get that experience against teams actually game planning to stop him and see how he looks in February after playing 30 mpg for a couple months to see if he fades or not. Can't knock a man for getting his bread, but I just don't see the play here.

I never said we were getting Knox. Really never felt like he was gonna be a Tar Heel.

I understand both sides when it comes to Bradley leaving or staying. He could absolutely stay and shine next year by being THE man. He could also get exposed, like JMM did when it was his turn to be the man. I'm not comparing talents because Bradley showed way more his freshman year than JMM did.

I can't blame him for leaving now if he likes what he's hearing. I also think he could show the scouts a lot by coming back and showing how good he is next year.

here is the exact quote on tony btw

The expected scenario was that Bradley would return for at least one more year to be the leading man in the post.

That scenario is now in serious jeopardy. When Bradley made a couple brief comments in the locker room after the national championship game about definitely declaring and possibly hiring an agent soon, many dismissed those words. But our intel is that it was more of a honest disclosure of his current mindset than many realized.

The more people in and around the situation that we talk to, the more we find that expect him to turn pro. The thinking is that he’s already close to his draft ceiling, so additional years in college won’t change that.

This week Bradley has been training with college seniors including Frank Mason and Andrew White in Raleigh. The deadline to declare early draft entry (with the opportunity to withdraw) is this coming Sunday. As with my decisions this time of year, opinions change, emotions run high and soul-searching is done. But this is the intel we're getting as of today.

I disagree with that he's close to his draft ceiling. I think he can be a lottery pick next year if he comes back and is the focus on offense.

So Justin Jackson and Jonathan Allen both proposed to their gfs, why do these young dudes want to get married so damn young

More than likely they're doing it how they saw their mom and pop's do it. Meet in college and marry them once you both graduate. Not to make it strictly a race thing, but I know a lot of white people who subscribe to this type of behavior. :yeshrug:

Happiness is happiness, some find it earlier than some.
