both men's and women's lacrosse beat maryland this weekend for the national championship
such a great fit for brice
so freaking happy for him
andrew platek committed yesterday. 4 star guard from upper new york. he shot 54% from 3 on the nike eybl circuit this summer
not a big time guy but he is 6'4" so we may be getting a rich man's wes miller which is something we so rarely have. him and jalek is a nice start to the 2017 class. need a few big men and maybe a true point guard to round it out
also got a 4 star cb commitment yesterday out of georgia
I thought UNC had a great chance of landing Jeremiah Tilmon. Now I don't know how our big man "board" looks right now. Carter, Knox, P.J. and Bamba all seem like long shots at this point. Who else is Roy after to shore up the frontline in '17?
we're doing pretty well with pj i think. gaining a lot of ground quickly on bamba too
was listening to a unc podcast and they were discussing the one and done struggles we've had. it just takes one guy to get the ball rolling. duke with jabari is a good example. just need one guy whether its bamba or pj or knox, have them ball out and go top 5 and recruiting will start to stablize again.
the big issue is getting that one guy. i think coming off the title game and with the ncaa stuff done, this year is our shot
I think our next 1 and done "Star" might be a couple years away with Leaky. He about to get his 5* and he's still growing. If he comes on campus with 5* pedigree, anywhere between 6'7"-6'9", and with legit point guard skills......he's top 5 draft pick on potential alone. In fact....that class might be our turn around for recruits as a whole. Devon Dotson is a bull at the point in the mode of Berry and Jairus Hamilton looks legit and both seem to be strong UNC leans.
