a lot of people are giving up on the playoff but i see two clear cut scenarios where we make it:
scenario a: beat clemson and stanford loses.
scenatio b: stanford wins but we beat clemson by 17+ points
obviously scenario b is far fetched but scenario a guarantees us a spot.
you HAVE to win your conference championship. if the resumes are comparable, they fall back on that and who you beat. that jumps us to #4 and i am sure of it
stanford beating us out would be pretty shytty but i would at least understand it. if ohio state beats us out, i will go postal. they have less wins over top 40 teams than we do, we played our common opponents just as good if not better than them and they didnt even win their own division much less conference. hell the SOS numbers are a dead heat right now and that is before clemson
osu making it over us would be a travesty and shows the playoff is a popularity contest and nothing more. i wont watch a second of the playoff if we get screwed like that.
