And to think, Roy is doing this without Manley and Leaky. Do you realize how sick this team would look right now with all their pieces? They legit look like Golden State at times with the ball movement, free lance offense, inside/outside game, and balanced scoring. Three straight games, three different leading scorers with 27 or better. And they haven't even hit their peak yet.
yeah that's why I wasn't sweating the early season, I liked that we had that hard schedule, get us battle tested, give us time for proper rotations. But if we can play to our level, we're the most complete team. Obv our transition game is tops, but being able to score in the half court/hit free throws/hit threes is what will put us over the top (it's why Virginia gives us trouble, they basically make you play half court, slow tempo).
I'd still like to see our perimeter defense improve though, still way too many clean looks from 3.

Coby starting to play himself into top 10 draft pick consideration. And I'm hoping my Knicks might be able to scoop up Cam in the second round; I see a little bit of Kuzma in him.

zion is either more hurt than they're letting on or his family has shut him down. the fact that he hasnt even practiced and k burned joey baker's redshirt immediately after the injury makes me fairly confident that they don't expect him back. they will continue this day to day rhetoric in order to protect their seed imo.

They needed a miracle bounce AND a couple phantom calls coming down the stretch to beat Wake......at home.....on Senior night (RJ, Cam, and Tre last game at home). UNC in another blowout Saturday

We didn't score a field goal in the final 6 minutes and still won by 9. 
Roy has to be Coach of the Year. Has to be. UVA had two cracks at em too and lost both. Ankle injury with Nas and Cam away from beating them too. Blew out FSU. Clearly the best team in the conference.
Going forward, the only thing that concerns me is a lack of a true low post scorer. We don't have anyone who can post up and get an easy basket if we needed it under 2 mins.... sort of like vs Duke the other night. Also, I hope we don't run into any teams that have 2 dominant bigs like A&M last year. That was a bad matchup for us.
ACC media are trash when it comes to postseason awards, in basketball and football. Jimbo in '13 at FSU fielded one of the most dominant teams ever, undefeated, Heisman trophy winner, and eventual National Champs.....only to lose the ACC COY award to David Cutcliffe
So I don't put too much stock into the ACC COY awards. My only gripe, and I'm not being biased, but how can Zion win Freshman of the Year while missing 1/3 of the conference season? Sure, RJ scored a lot, but those stats ring kinda hollow when your team finished 3rd in the conference. (sidenote: I wonder how Cam Reddish feel seeing Tre bum ass get first team freshman nod and he didn't) Coby season was more impactful and valuable than any other Freshman in the conference. Kenny not making 1st Team All Defense is kinda UNC's fault. Hard to make a claim for Kenny when there are players on his own team with more Defensive Player of the Game awards. True fans know how valuable Kenny is on defense, but the media members who just look at stats or clout chase whatever the narrative is (ex:Tre Jones being the "best perimeter on ball defender" yet Coby rung up 21 easy points with no turnovers Saturday) don't respect what Kenny does on defense night in and night out.
The voting disrespect for UNC and love fest for Dook coupled with this.....
I hope the team uses it as fire for the upcoming tourneys.
