temple is a good test for us without marcus

i think we grind out a 7 point win. 79-72.

also marcus says his goal is to be back for northern iowa

this team is going to be good. REALLY good

no marcus, justin and brice are a combined 3/14 and we're still killing a good team

nate, theo and joel can all shoot now. sure kenny can too

kennedy is going to be all acc this year. no one under 6'9" has a chance to guard him.

good lord this team is stacked

LOVE the edge there. we've been too soft for too long and Brice going all sheed and rubbing it in was great to see

Man I hope Theo can sustain this energy level thru the grind of the season. Much needed addition to this team. I'm hyped as hell for this season. The amount of space Marcus is gonna have with Medium Meeks and Brice killing in the paint is gonna be scary. JJ finds his stroke and it's a wrap!

Not a bad way to open the season. Berry gonna be a beast on defense, hope he starts every game this season. Post play looked good. Shooting looked good. Defense was meh. Free throws and 3 point defense is something we're just gonna have to live with because I don't see either getting much better this season.

Pinson got a lotta work to do still. Pretty bad game from him other than a few plays in the 2nd half and the buzzer beater to end the 1st.

Overall though that was a pretty solid game.

7 points, 9 rebs, 5 assist is a bad game? He clearly has a lot of work to do offensively, but if he can thrive in this "Jackie Manuel" type role we're good. We had 4 players with double digits in points. We don't need Theo to be a scorer.....just get those scraps. Led the team in assist and the most boards after Meeks and Brice....I think that's job well done.
