He doesn't suck....this part of his coaching style does. He's reluctant to obvious changes because of his stubborn old school ways. We watched him sacrifice numerous games before finally going with Marshall over Drew. We saw him sacrifice numerous games before going small with PJ Hairston and crew. Now we're watching him sacrifice a bunch of games running Berry legs into the ground cause he wanna teach Felton a lesson about defense. It would make sense if 7th was healthy, but it just seems pointless now. Especially when nobody outside of Kenny plays any defense. In last nights game, Kenny got his 4th foul because Berry let his man dribble all the way from half court for a layup and an and-1.

I think it’s more than defense with Jalek. And I also don’t think he’s sacrificing games by not playing Jalek 5-7 more minutes a game.

This isn’t a very good defensive team and when Kenny and Cam aren’t making shots, it’s not a very good offensive team either.

I would like to see Joel and Felton play together. Felton is clearly the better passer and playmaker

What more could it be with Jalek then? We'll just have to agree to disagree then. Cause I see Berry forcing shyt too much and I see his legs are no good logging all these minutes too. There was a point in the game last night where Luke and Berry scored all but 9 points. Jalek got in the game and got two other players baskets as well as a layup. He adds value on the court in terms of production as well as preserving Berry. I don't understand the notion that Roy isn't sacrificing games by playing Berry 35 plus mins when there's a capable back up on the bench. If his legs are gone and his shots are looking flat now, what do you think they'll be in March? These are the games where you steal mins for your core guys. He dont mind stealing mins for Kenny with Brandon and Platek. He don't mind stealing mins with Luke with Brooks and Manley. What is the issue with Felton? Seems like Roy is too hell bent on having a resident whipping boy ala Meeks and Brice. I'm just saying its timeout for that right now. Unless you think losing to V Tech is acceptable.

Nah I get what you’re saying breh. I don’t think we win that game last night regardless of how many minutes Jalek played, but I feel you and I agree Roy is being too hard on him.

this team is what it is. if kenny and cam play like this, we can lose to any team in the country. if they're making shots like vs clemson, we can beat anyone in the country. going to be a lot of frustrating nights and a lot of nights where we just make everything
