Chill out. He has 6-7 months to work on a game plan for Cain. He is the best option for anyone in HW beating Cain right now. His all around game is top shelf right now. Looking forward to that fight alot.
Cain has a glass jaw so theres hope.

O and he cant see Werdum on the ground.

Travis really thought because he knocked out a few old time veterans he was ready for a World Class Brazillian Jiujitsu Elite Black Belt? :mjlol: O friends, we have to train harder.

First off. Werdum ain't taking Cain down, not going to happen. All Cain really has to do is keep the fight standing. He's superior in the stand up, and will dominate. If Cain's smart, this will be the one fight he minimizes his wrestling and stays off the ground.

After tonight, you could easily make the case for a Werdum victory over Cain. Hes footwork looks good so he won't be racing back towards the cage liks JDS. He may even welcome baiting Cain to the ground for a sub. Good cardio. His chin looked nice. He ate them power shots Browne threw early on. Striking wise no question its Werdum. I would still pick Cain, but its damn interesting now. As far as Browne, he needs to work on his cardio and being a more technical striker. He was just throwing half speed overhands and front kicks all fight

No. Did you see how crisp Werdum boxing was tonight? The stiff jab? His flush kicks? Werdum is probably the most versatile striker at HW right now. Cain best bet is to take him down and secure top position for the GNP.

to be fair Werdum was toolin' Browne on the feet tonight, but Browne was gassed before the first round was even over

Cain vs Werdum is THE fight at HW though

:childplease:

There is no way his striking is better than JDS (who threw way better leg kicks in their last fight) Werdum's striking look fantastic against a wobbly tired Travis. Nothing more nothing less. But no one in the division can see Cain's hands. Those spinning kicks will land him on his back and GNP'd. On top of that Werdum was tired by 3rd. He got a chance to rest up cause Travis wasn't attacking. Cain never stops.

again to be fair, Werdum is NOT trying that bullshyt with Cain in the cage. There styles lead me to believe that there fight will be standing up. Cain has shown excellent striking from the clinch, while Werdum looked like he vastly improved his stand up tonight, albeit Browne was gassed early and throughout the fight. Bottom line it's gonna be an exciting fight.
