call me crazy, but for some odd reason i have Faber getting the upset
My predictions
Faber vs Barao
Faber has been on a tear and deserves this shot no matter the jokes. But nothing in their first matchup indicated he can match Barao. Yea he had a rib inury but Barao is still an absolute beast. Faster, better striking, better grappling, exceptional TDD. The fight will be much more competitive, but Barao takes it by UD
Aldo vs Lamas
I don't see how Lamas can possibly beat Aldo. Aldo has faced much better strikers/wrestlers and defeated them with ease. Hes basically miles better then Lamas in every category. Lamas has been off for a year so who knows how he will come in. Aldo by TKO rd 2
Mir vs Overeem
Overeem should destroy Mir with ease if he is focused. Both guys has suspect chin.Mir is notoriously bad against heavy handed strikers. I still think Overeem is a solid fighter. He ws defeated Big Foot before he got cocky. And he absolutely destroyed Browne(and that fight would have, and should have been stopped if anyone but dipshyt yamasaki was ref) Mir, on the other hand, looks old. He got destroyed by JDS, Cormier, and Barnett. I honestly don't think he has much less. The only way I can see him winning is if he lasts during the first and tires Overem out. But I would take reem by KO in the 1st
Linker vs Baugtinov
Linker having trouble making weight may be his undoing. Baugtinov has better boxing and grappling. He will pick Lineker apart and get the next shot at Johnson
Trukillo vs Varner
I still have images of Trujillo getting rag dolled around by Khabib. Varner is not that caliber of wrestler, but he does have the grappling edge that should put him over. But hes so inconsistent. He looks great against Barboza and Guillard but will lose to bums like Tibeau. Both have are equal striking. I got Varner by UD

I know that on-paper Mir seems like a bad match-up for Reem, but I got the feeling that Mir will pull it out.
2 of his 3 losses were against JDS and Cormier...they beat every HW not named Cain. The stoppage against Barnett was controversial, even though I'll admit it did look like Mir was on his way out, you still have to give a fighter like that the benefit of the doubt.
Reem is scary for one round, then he tends to drop off if he can't finish you. I think if Mir can withstand the initial barrage, he can win this.

the champs on this card are just too talented so i got both barao and aldo puttin the beats on they opponents....i got overeem beating mir cuz thats wat big dudes do to mir
