Maybe I'm still not over the Mueller investigation
but I'm still not convinced anything of consequence will happen to Trump once he's out. After four years of nothing happening to Trump I need to see it to believe it. I figure he'll just spend the rest of his life milking MAGAs for money.

Don't expect much out of the DOJ. If there's something big in relation to the capitol attack then ok but otherwise I don't think they will bother with Trump and his family. It's likely up to the state of New York, we know they are looking, whether charges are brought I don't know and I'm not going to lose sleep over it

I understand the attitude but that's nowhere near apples to apples. Mueller had no guts, and Presidential fukkery aka "privilege" protected him. That's gone for state level charges or anything else and the stakes in making sure Trump is punished in as many ways as possible now are only going to get higher. I also don't believe the Biden DOJ will want to sweep critical stuff under the rug - it's smart politics AND needed to protect the country from the criminality Trump represents.
