In the end he is the ultimate cac "celebrity". And he's racist enough for the white people to know he's on their side. And for that, he is someone to be protected. There are other factors but imo, white people see trump as a leader they've been wanting all their lives. For that he will be given all the excuses, defense and support for as long as possible. Until he no longer is in position to be the most powerful man in the world.

I can't support this evidence, bu it's a theory that I've been kicking around for a while. I think psychologically, conservative whites became very envious and angry at the joy black people were experiencing when Obama was elected. They wanted a white version of a black cultural moment....thus Trump.

I'll never forget over hearing a middle age white guy saying on the day Trump was inaugerated that it was their "MLK Day". The root of MAGA is ultimately backlash from Obama. Not all Trump supporters feel this way. Some voted for Obama twice but eventually got caught up in the misinformation pipeline and voted for Trump in 2016.
But this whole MAGA movement is based on racism. White people look at Trump as their last stand of defense in a country that is increasingly getting less white with time.

As this point they’ve just been conditioned by their news and social media sphere to find victimhood and unfairness anywhere and view him as their champion against that.

I saw someone today complaining about Pelosi’s son getting away after his 7th investigation or something. And I’ll be honest, I have no idea who her son and neither should anyone else . :mjlol:
