Ugh. The Supreme Court just denied Jack Smith's request to skip the Appeals court and handle the Presidential Immunity claim that Trump is raising. That means it stays in the Appeals Court, and assuming Jack wins, Trump will appeal to the full Court of Appeals, then after that, will try again to go to the Supreme Court. This will take months.

There's no way this case will start in the 1st week of March as planned.

It does not mean that dude…Supreme court is punting to the appeals court. when the appeals courts rules.. And Trump takes it to the Supreme Court they will affirm the appeals court decision meaning THE SCOTUS RATHER THE APPEALS COURT MAKE THE DECISION ANS SCOTUS AGREE WITH IT

This is a win for Trump because he wants to stall the trial. Jack is trying to get the trial to start on March 4th. The court process takes time. The odds of the Appeals Court and Supreme Court making rulings before March 4th isn't good.

The Appeals Court date is January 9th. It will take a few weeks between oral arguments and other procedures before the Appeals Court makes a ruling. So the earliest they will probably make a ruling is closer to the end of January at it's fastest pace. If the Supreme Court refuses to hear the case then it's a win for Jack because the trial can start on March 4th. If they accept the case, they would need to put it on a immediate fast track in order to rule before March 4th. I've been listening to several legal analysts on CNN/MSNBC and they have largely said that a trial delay is likely due to this.

I had mentioned earlier the idea of Trump being able to appeal to the full Court of Appeals after losing the first Appeals Court ruling next month. That may not be a possibility and he may go straight to the Supreme Court. But if it is a possibility then that would delay things more.

Is it a win for Trump? You see how fast the scoutus returned their answer to have the appeals court rule? So what makes you think they will take their time when this case comes back to them again?
