Sounds to me like this is much bigger than we could have imagined. Seems like they may be trying to link the idea that Trump shared classified documents with foreign countries after he left office in exchange for real estate and/or money deals.

Trump has committed so many crimes that the DOJ can't keep up. No wonder it's taking forever to charge him.

The fact that Trump has been allowed to move the way he does for so long speaks volumes in regards to our institutions.

I would love to see what happens in the next 10 to 20 years. By then Biden/Trump will be dead, and I wonder how documentaries look back at this time. The rampant corruption, the partisanship and the fact that the highest levels of government run on unwritten rules instead of more defined rules

Trump lawyers requesting to meet with Garland definitely means this is at the end of the investigation. I was listening to a podcast where Andrew McCabe (former Deputy Director of the FBI) stated that when a investigation is wrapping up and a indictment decision is about to be made, the defendant's lawyers will request to meet with the US Attorney to convince them not to indict. If the defendant is a high profile name and the US Attorney rejects them, they go to that person's boss at the main Justice Department. He's seen it go up to the Deputy Attorney General.
