I've read them (read the last one on a flight to Vegas last month actually). The first 2 books were ok junk food reads buts honestly the books have gotten completely ridiculous.
The show and the book are barely related though because so much is different between the two.

I completely agree with you. In the beginning I could connect some things between the book and the show. Now it feels like two different stories

I thought EVERYONE hated Tara?

Initially, folks liked Tera, just that everyone on here seems to have forgotten that she was likeable in season 1, before the all the lip quivering, lol.

Also, ya'll forget that this shows target audience is first and foremost women and gays, to which both probably like Tera a lot as a character cuz she's emotional and drama-ridden.

Tara was basically dead when Pam came and gave her blood....its the vampire blood when your dead that revives you into a baby vamp. The sucked dry part is so perfectly good blood is not wasted lol

  In the book Pam is turned unwillingly by Eric, but she comes to accept it and is happy that he turned her. She didn't own a brothel either.
