didnt get a chance to play the beta since i been dropping nikkas heavy in R6.

can anyone comment on the gameplay/feel of the division?

How Destiny Seduced Me

The Beta has been tantamount to ordering a nice hot coffee and receiving a lukewarm chocolate milk. Underwhelming as hell. This is a game that I had pre-ordered and I was planning on canceling said pre-order because of my dissapointment...

UNTIL LAST NIGHT.

... I just experienced the next gen of gaming. I'll nerd-splain:

- I'd just cleared an area of NPC enemies and @LinusCaldwell was on the other side of the city. I get approached by 2 soldiers (actual players) who ask me, through the proximity chat, "Are you alone?" while they aimed an M4 carbine and Ak-47 at me, respectively. I answer, "Yea, my dude is waiting behind cover." Poker face, the breh was no where near me. They believed me. They dropped their weapons and acted "friendly".

- As I exit the building, I'm walking down the street and I get hit by a large caliber sniper round. I run back up to be like WTF? They shoot at me, I shoot back...they kill me. I drop ALL OF ALL THE WEAPONS AND LOOT I WORKED HARD FOR. They teabag my body...and I heard them say, "Bro, let's keep doing this to people. We shoot them after we friend them and catch them off-guard". I LEGIT FELT MOLESTED. shyt fukkED WITH ME.

- I respawn and now have a bloodlust. I need revenge. Me and my group LOOK FOR THESE DUDES ALL THROUGHOUT NY trying to find them. I see two guys who say what's up and I ask them if they've seen the two guys, to watch out for them, and give them the names. They say no but will watch out for them. It was like some Wild Wild West shyt. I knew they were on the same server still... I just had to look for them. I had to find them.

- I search for 45 minutes. I here someone in a building. I inspect and start firing because I thought it was them. "Bro, STOP STOP, IT'S US". It was the 2 guys I met a little earlier. I did not mortally wound them and I healed them and apologized. Waited for my Rogue countdown to end; I had an itchy trigger finger. They accepted my apology. We laugh and we friend request each other but don't join each other's squads. We go separate ways.

- Near the end of the 45 minute search, I figured they must have left the City. I give up the search... so I'm going towards the safe zone. I get a message from the two brehs I made friends with that they need help. I run to the location and help them fend off these enemy combatants.

-As we are about to exit that building, we SEE ONE OF THE PLAYERS WHO KILLED ME EARLIER AND TOOK MY LOOT.

-I scream, "THAT IS ONE OF THEM!!!" I start DUMPING rounds from my Classic WW2 era M1 Garand. I kill him. To see this dude crawling on the floor, bleeding out... IT WAS THE MOST SATISFYING GAMING EXPERIENCE IN YEARS.

Added Subtitles for all Field Data that play audio

Mission Entrance menu usability has been improved

Significantly increased number of Crafting Materials obtained from Loot Crates

Other:

New "Help" Menu is now available in Settings Menu - it stores all the Loading Screen and Context Sensitive Tips

New Tutorials added for certain gameplay features and mechanics (these can be switched off in the Options Menu)

Skill Modifiers have been added directly to Gear (previously only available on Gear Mods)

Fixed an issue on Character Select that resulted in getting stuck with specific combination of inputs

Fixed a progression blocking issue caused by accepting a group invite at a specific moment during the Base of Operations unlock sequence

Players will no longer be returned all the way back to start screen after creating or logging in to their Ubisoft Club Account

Fixed remaining Bugs that prevented log-in when some non-essential services were offline

New Icon for Landmarks in the DarkZone, Icon now changes dynamically depending on if Non-Player Enemies are present or not

Added information to the in-game Loot Pickup UI to show why an item can't be picked up

Improved multi-GPU performanceFixed issue where you could get a white screen on start-up

Improved performance in Windowed modeThe Deployable Turret no longer targets non-rogue players and doesn't damage neutral players caught in line of fire either

Overall stability increased - lots of Crash fixes!Further backend improvements and optimizations

Many Localization adjustments and bug fixesAdditional minor bug fixes and polish!
