That's why I said it's much more an RPG then anything else. The shooting mechanics are secondary and I only played 20 mins. IDK. Maybe it's the delays. Maybe it is other tactical games like TLOU or GOW. Maybe it's the super high expectations. But this seems just....alright

The streams for PC look much better than console, that 60fps is the reason for that.

Tired of copping these shooters that are only running 30fps for this generation. Since the gunplay and animations are already on a verge of the framerate being as smooth as it is on PC will make it feel like an entirely different game IMO.

There's options in the settings menu to hid a lot of the HUD items. Everything is on by default.

I played it joined a group we did the medical mission

then we went to the dark zone


We survived extracted a few items

Guns feel so damn weak and headshots are barely doing damage


Trolls already trying to make The Dark Zone unplayable with spawn traps outside checkpoints

Maybe it has something to do with the beta cap being level 8 and the final version level cap being 45

Have yall not played a MMO before? Most MMO pvp is trash before max level. The fact this looks good at such a low level is very impressive.

Yeah I saw a lot this morning.
There are hardly any enemies either.

What can we do in the DZ? Just fight random people and shyt? No missions?

My homie got murked...we had to go back in and go get the items he dropped.

This was before we learned about extractions lol

the cover and shoot mechanics are going to get really boring. it will be interesting to see what abilities you get as you level up and if they make the gameplay more dynamic

So I finished the story mission and did some random missions then headed in to the dark zone I was pretty amprehensive since I heard it's a gank fest but I got up to level 5 then I saw some people were extracting so I headed there and murked some rogues then I ran for it because we were over run some one else extracted and I got some phat loot, kept exploring and ran into some yellow mooks, killed them and then some dudes started harrassing me and then killed me went back and picked up my back pack, went exploring again saw another extraction ran up in there and we were being over run by more yellow mooks killed them extracted then some random dudes ran up on me, one shot and then they let loose, i was bobbing and weaving ducking and jiving I get away run down the stairs turn the corner and lie in wait they come after me and murk me in two seconds I left the DZ then the game froze :yeshurg:

Anyway I'm having fun with it, my agent is level 6 if anyone wants to run later lemme know
