The way they constructed that team means they didn't even want that medal. Makes no sense to me.
US didn't even use one woman from the semis in the finals
and the men only brought back cherry.
They had so much to choose from and still bottled it

2 could’ve come from Simone competing/not getting the twisties. The women’s team would’ve won gold with her and she definitely would’ve added another gold in the individual events (we still got gold in the all around and floor, her at her best gets gold on the beam instead of bronze), the Aussie women/Titmus upset is are another couple we could’ve gotten

That race needs to be toward the end of the t&f events, people with heats and races coming up aren’t about to waste their energy on that shyt. None of our premier athletes were gonna agree to it
China lead 38-36 in golds. Women's Bball is a USA gold medal lock, and the USA women's volleyball is a substantial favorite to win gold tomorrow as well.
It comes down to boxing. USA has 2 finalists, but I think only one (Davis) has a realistic shot of winning. China has a finalist in women's boxing as well, but she's the underdog.
