I cannot remember the race if it was diamond league or a champs but it is a good few years back before they changed the false start rules. There was like 5-6 false starts and on one of them half the field got 60-70m before slowing down.
In the last diamond league meeting before the Olympics in the Women's Steeplechase and in a men's 5k (I think) they rang the final bell a lap too early and the leaders went into final lap mode got to the finish and they had be waved on to continue the actual last lap.
