I didn't even realize it was him and was disappointed the American barely missed a medal, then when his name showed up on the board in 4th I realized who it was and smiled. 3/100th off of bronze and 5/100th off of silver. Pretty sure that means he gone home with no medals. Too bad buddy.

Beach Volleyball, where one team just got knocked out. Swimming where some didn’t medal.

That's a young team that wasn't expected to medal. The #1 American beach volleyball team is still in it.

USA won 9 gold, 9 silver, and 9 bronze in swimming. That seems good to me, expectations are distorted cause Phelps was always good for 6-8 medals (almost all gold) every Olympics 2004-2016.

Was crazy to see Simone Manuel and Natalie Hinds as half the 4 x 100 team tho. They both medaled in 2016 too.
