Every other nation cares about golds.Nah, we have the most medals overall and 2nd most gold. However, some swimming events that the US dominated have been taken over by other countries like Australia, Canada and the UK.
Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Nathan Adrian, Cullen Jones, Matt Grevers, Aaron Peirsol, etc were just too GOATED.
We got used to their dominance
And the US swim program didn’t just beast with that group. As long as I’ve been alive, the US ran swimming. This is flabby and sick.
Still lots of swimming left. The US will pick up more golds in swimming. It just won't be as dominating as the past 3 Olympics. Those days are gone (...for now).
