That's not the reason why she withdrew from the team event final.

Not reallyif she didn't have it today us might not even have medaled

Would you want your Ace pitcher to get creamed for 9 runs in the first or after a batter just saying I don't have my stuff today go to the pen

A star QB not coming out after halftime of a Super Bowl, or a NBA star sitting out the 4th quarter in a game 7 of the NBA finals would not be able to get away with this.

Like I said fair or not - she quit on her team. Also, aren't teammates supposed to help/boost you up? Why couldn't she ask her teammates to help her regain her confidence?

She just bailed.

She was dominating the competition all year until now, so I don't think so.

But back to real sports. So is this the end of "choking"? If pressure causes you to fold is that just mental issues now and off limits? Exactly what is choking now?

Can you even say a player is mentally tough if it insinuates there is something wrong with not being mentally tough?
