I thought Joe didn't release claiming Math said something about gays. Joe claimed to not release it to protect Math.
Lmao never heard that story but idk they could have just edited that part out. Joe has edited his podcast before but maybe Math said several things that would have made him look bad. Only Joe and his team really knows.

Yeah, AZ wasn't happy about his time on the show. They were annoying him.

Certain dudes who live by the code ain't with the chatty gossipy thing that MEO was turning into. A is all about his music and business. He's not gonna sit there and talk about petty sh*t that other people might entertain. That's why when he went to other shows after, he mentioned that he only focuses on the money and Hip Hop when he talks to people. He's from a different era.

Also gotta be asinine to still be getting nonstop Nas questions at this point in life. AZ got an entire career, loosies etc yet people still want to ask why didn't he do an album with Nas, can it still come out, how did it feel when Nas did/said xyz, nonstop. Guys get put into a box and there's nothing they can do to get out of that mid 90s to early 00s box in the minds of a lot of fans. Every album has to sound like the old shyt, you have to rap about the old shyt (ie no artistic growth), you gotta dress the same etc. You really start to get it when you look at how people like Math act, dress, talk, etc. They're stuck in a past era, the only modern thing about them is the poorly fitting current fashion they try to wear. Everything else is regressive.

Ironically these guys interviewed older guys like AZ, Guru, Dres etc who have aged well without doing corny shyt and you could tell they weren't interested in any of the personal growth. They just want to relive the old days.

Joe laughing at Math. Thought they were cool, you know Math is emotional and gonna feel a way lol

Joe and Math are almost the same cat. Two failed rappers who found a second career in talking to or about successful rappers, and now act like they are in the same league as the biggest and richest rappers, or worse the biggest executives. Except that they do it to their friends, partners, on screen and on while people who are comfortable with those stacks might just do it behind the scenes :mjlol:

The pettiness is next level with both of them :wow:

Nah I think there are important differences, joe is actually smart, hes good at manipulation. He's phony and you can see what he's doing but it still works.

Math isn't that smart, he gets too much ego when he's up and he doesn't make the people aroud him comfortable. He's the type of friend that everyone talks shyt about when he's not around

I agree I mean every aspect from rap to pod he's a budget version of Joe Budden, but the underlying traits and moves are very similar

i listened to this yesterday. he makes good points about how narrowminded math was during his run, but the whole time im thinking, "this nigg@ a thief tho" :comeon:

and every time someone asks him to explain that shyt he just acts like it was smoke and mirrors and "if you know whats goin on, it dont even make sense." like the tape lying on him. atleast math just stole off on niggs, he fukkin stole!
