Agreed. They all had flaws but together as a unit it allowed them to lean on their strengths more while also letting the guest TALK. The best interviews were always ones where the guest was telling a story for 10+ minutes with limited interruption.

I just watched a 9 minute Cormega clip on Bag Fuel and damn near half of it was Esso going on a real estate rant that had little to do with what Mega was talking about lmao. Esso's industry knowledge is dope but he needs to be reigned in...which is what used to happen on MEO. That classic Young Guru interview is a good example because he had a few "I know xyz, I remember xyz" moments but they flowed in the convo and were brief lol. They understood to let Guru talk.

Styles P got upset that Math hosted J-Hood, who was talking bad about The LOX and said that Math could've handled the interview differently and checked the facts before putting the interview out.

They peaced it up after this and talked it out.

I think a few rappers had issues with Math after some interviews because he's more of a "street guy" then most of the people that are gonna interview them, so they expect him to not do certain things. But at the end of the day, he's a podcaster and he's gonna do and ask questions that'll get clicks. So you can't expect him to operate from a street perspective when it comes to his business

Yeah, AZ wasn't happy about his time on the show. They were annoying him.

Certain dudes who live by the code ain't with the chatty gossipy thing that MEO was turning into. A is all about his music and business. He's not gonna sit there and talk about petty sh*t that other people might entertain. That's why when he went to other shows after, he mentioned that he only focuses on the money and Hip Hop when he talks to people. He's from a different era.
