They have a industry friendship

But they have both laughed at each other's issues.

Sub-leasing at the level he reached is wild

Not having an agreement about the utilities prior to agreeing to said sub lease is wild

Being well into your 40s and trying place partial blame on your parents not teaching you game is wild

Math was better off just putting out a tweet that MEO was on hold and leave it at that until he found a new setting. Nothing about that video puts him in a positive light.
Math's chief problem is narcissism.

He can't accept that his music is absolute trash.

He has ZERO sense of humility, leading to him constantly burning bridges. His sense of self-inflation is beyond the scope of reason.

He's clearly bad with money management.

Who knows WHAT he's said to that barbershop owner to piss dude off.

All that said....I don't know WHY people keep proppin' up Esso and Hynaken. "Bag Fuel" is virtually unwatchable BECAUSE of those two. They really think THEY are the attraction. There is absolutely nothing worse than hosts who CONSTANTLY interrupt the guests, especially when the hosts sound ignorant as they're doing so.

And I'm sorry....whoever watches Hassan Campbell, you unequivocally lost.

Thank you! I've been banging the "Bagfuel is horrific" drum since it started.

They have maybe 1 or 2 good interviews but Esso is unbearable. He's like Nore on steroids the way he interrupts guests. It's like he wants to ask himself these questions and just asks the guest so he can say how he feels on the subject. And Hynaken asks the dumbest questions.

I think it's the same thing that happens anytime there's a podcast break up, the ones who are seen as the lesser names get a lot of sympathy support online. Except for them, it hasn't translated into views except for when they talk about leaving MEO or they have a super big guest on. And even then they still peak at 150K.

When you’re freelancers, you gotta do that unfortunately.

I personally don’t mind Bag Fuel and I respect their consistency. They can be annoying during interviews you can tell most of their guests have a personal relationship with them so it feels more like a conversation than them intentionally interrupting.

They do need some self awareness though :mjlol:

I also respect them going outside the box and getting NYC basketball legends and lesser known industry guys

I feel Bag Fuel has way more personality then Math though. Math is only lit cause of his guest but no one watches for him and he pushes his music way too much on his shows. He really wants to be a rapper and the podcast success happened but he would much rather be known for his rap skills. Compare him to Joe, where Joe can hold a show down without any guest.

Heck, even Bag Fuel I can watch just Esso and Hyn but at the same time they have to learn when to shut the hell up and let the guest speak. I do like that they focus on the business side and not just the drama or beef though. Adding Clue I feel also helps them but they have to learn when to be quiet and when to speak, it's like an art to it that they haven't figured out all the way yet.

Truthfully they had the best chemistry as a team. Bigga popping in with his one often deep question and holding down the security as well as cleaning the shop. Esso being the wild one but business minded one, Hyn doing his research and asking his questions too. Mec on the shea butter conscious shyt. Space ghost making sure the audio and video was right. Everyone played a part! For the new team, Gat might be a cool dude but he sucks, Kim is a better journalist and not that great on camera due to being self centered and Champ was cool but he was a shady dude according to Math. Esso, Bigga and Hyn was his best team.

Esso said himself he doesn't watch the shows, that's the problem. Once they actually sit back and watch their own shyt they can fix it. If they decide too, he is stubborn. He brings up some great topics but then put himself in the convo a little too much or cuts the guest off. That sounds horrible on a podcast.

Joe Budden has that figured out well. Everyone speaks and they know when to be quiet without too much talking all at once.

Doggie has a lot of resentment towards Math. Sucks he is saying this when he is down unless he has said some of this before I don't think he needed to kick him down even further lol. I would have just distanced myself when I saw I did so much for dude and he couldn't even shout me out.

Agree with everything, but Joe needs to get credit for selecting and curating his cast. That's a skill in itself and the main reason the show is watchable. Imagine if JBP went to just Joe, Ice, Emmany, and Jaewon lol. How many of us would be watching consistently months from now? With a mid cast there's only so much Math or anybody can do.

If I was making 100,000 a month in a space I'm sub leasing, the minute I have my first issue with the landlord I'm looking for another spot to lease under my own name and I'm explaining to them exactly what my business is.

But nikkas wanna buy Amiri hats.

Welcome to battle rap :blessed: it's crazy how you described 99% of them just pointing out Math's flaws

Even him over-explaining what's going wrong with the show was classic battle rap vlog behavior :heh:
