I remember Jon Reel warned him awhile ago he should invest in a spot he owns. Any time you filming in a location you don't really own you're subjected to dealing with the temperament of the owner.

I don't know where he was when he interviewed Roc and Chess, but that looked like a nice location. That might've been a 1 time thing tho
I mean "just buy a building" in New York is a TALL ORDER

Math was buying Gucci outfits instead of paying the bills. His story isn’t adding up, and even if it did, it’s still just bad business.

With something as valuable as his podcast he should’ve been in lockstep with the landlord, not messing around with a go between. Everything should’ve been contracted and he should’ve been writing it off as a business expense.

He also should have kept it running as a barbershop. If the barbers let the chairs get messed up, take it out the rent or make them pay for a new. Have clear signs saying only customers sit in the chairs.

He was too happy making all that money and forgot about running an actual business.

Also knew something was up by the sound being off the last few interviews. Seemed like he was trying to cut costs.

It doesn't help if you're on Vlad talking about ending the podcast to pursue a rapping career.

With all the drama, the show's ratings simply dropped, plus Math burned a lot of bridges - from 5Mics, Styles P, his former co-hosts, then some of the interviews were just boring, so people lost interest.

He might revive the show if he comes with something fresh, otherwise it doesn't look too good honestly.

I like how Math tried to piggyback off “no jumper going broke,” which is a completely different situation.

Adam has an asset that he simply does not want to deal with anymore, and the drama associated with it. He just wants to pack up and leave.

He could rent space out, but he just wants it off his hands.

Think maybe I’m overestimating what this show was making monthly. I think a barbershop somewhere else with a better lease situation was very doable. Hell, even now. There are so many damn barbershops wtf.
Hynaken, Ghost and Bigga all said when they were there and saw the numbers he was making 6 figures a month off Youtube

The thing is, when people who never had a lot of money finally come into money, they usually mismanage it. Especially if they think it's never gonna slow up.

That's a very common thing in the business. I hope he saved some of what he was making.
