So...as we spoke about, the game has been amazing but at the same time lackluster because of what I've played in Red Dead.

But, breh...

Two things have gotten me a bit more committed and interested;

1) That Kassandra flashback when she finds out who the Wolf of Sparta is and that ultra foul, fukkboy shyt that

her fukking father did because he valued the state over his family. Damn, letting a nikka throw your fukking newborn son off of a fukking cliff. Wow. And then doing the same, himself to Kassandra. Wow.

2) When I got my first taste of the ship battles. Yo...considering the GOAT pirate experience is Sea of Thieves , I didn't think I would fukk w/ Ubisoft's vision but the shyt is fun as fukk. That being said, Sea of Thieves sailing mechanics are way deeper - no cap.

I fukking hate 90% of the face animations, robotic conversation sway and contrived hand motions during cut scenes, though.

The facial animations in most games are at best good. There's some bad ones and then there's the top tier, 1% shyt like those found in ND games.
Like, look at this shyt... This looks pretty much like real life.

Right.

I was actually about to say that it must be even more jarring for Sony brehs who get consistent God tier single player experiences. Like, the shyt I have seen in God of War...it is so masterfully detailed that shyt in other open worlds feel like second rate.

Another thing I realized is, I LOVE when single player games feel weighty and the perspective/camera view of the over the shoulder makes the character take up a big portion of the screen.

It's why I LOVE Gears

Why I'm impressed by God Of War

And blown away by Red Dead

I didn't speak on this before but in Assassin's creed, I can't FEEL like the character with how tiny he/she tends to be in comparison to the screen real estate. I'm playing this shyt on nightmare which is fun as hell because it makes me think twice, shyt three times about actually trying to engage but shyt gets so lost in the camera that I sometimes can't effectively make out what's going on.

Disclaimer: If anyone knows where in the menu I can adjust camera, that would DRAMATICALLY improve my experience.

starts off trash in Kephallonia I almost gave up on the game, but once you leave the island the game becomes

Finished episode 1 of the Atlantis DLC. It was ok, nothing wowed me. I really hated the lack of bows, kept looting the same one over and over until i found the legendary one


Guess I got the good ending though

Hope the rest of the Atlantis DLC is better

They also added more Lost Tales of Greece quests and these lean towards dark humor.

Just beat the Hades DLC and this shyt is basically God Of War now Kassandra is super OP to the point where she needs to fight First Civ characters in order to have a challenge because she's clearly a tier above every being in this game
