No they weren't. When she let them have her, they all focused on her mid section and separated her in two. The walkers aren't munching femurs and shyt. One example is in season 2 When Andrea and Daryle were searching for sophia they found a man who hung himself. The walkers ate all the flesh off his legs but left the bones.
