Episode was far from boring and was probably the most interesting episode I've seen in a while. I guess any episode that doesn't have zombie bodies constantly dropping or killing people is probably boring to most people tho.

I don't read the comics (fuk spoilers....I don't care if u think the show is so much "different" than the comics that there are no spoilers, I didn't know the governor even existed so reading it would have been a spoiler for me) so the whole Governor ish and the story of lastnights episode had me like :ohhh: the whole time. That nikka reminds me of Jim Jones (not the rapper) :to:

dude is sick as fuk man, damn.....like.....why couldn't he just let those soldiers join the group? Why kill the last survivor soldier? whats with all those heads in those bowls though?

Sadly it looks like Andrea may be drinking the kool aid and fell for the hype.....wouldn't be surprised if she gave up the puss. Thankfully the black chick is skeptic of him.

EDIT: anyone notice that the only ppl complaining are those who read the comics?

now if u started reading them in 03 or whenever it came out then I guess u have a right to complain, go head and vent...... but if ur someone who only started reading after this show came on the air then u need to just put a dikk in ur mouth and stfu. That's what u get for purposely spoiling shyt for yourself, now you'll never be satisfied no matter what. shyts like reading a screenplay or novel and then complaining about the film not being exactly like what u read.

-Everything remains exactly the way it is in the comics = nerds would complain about that and say theres no point in watching.

-Switch shyt up
= nerds complain about that and say its nothing like the comic :sadbron:

:ehh:

I'm loving the show right now :ahh:

nobody's complaining about it not being like the comics tho :rudy:

There've only been two main complains. That episode 3 ended very anticlimactic and that this episode was boring. I've read the comics and this was the first time I've complained about the show at all this season. I don't care whether it's like the comics or not...just be good

lol i didn't like her portrayal.

in the books she aint exactly a talkative one... but her character is supposed to be the 'stoic and reserved' type, and not the 'stank faced always angry, dont want shyt to do with anyone' version we saw.

more so, she's one who would actually want to stay in the neighborhood/community they found themselves in.

mind you, i'd feel differently if she were introduced to the governor in the same manner as in the books (in which shyt got real from jump) but given the context in which they've met on the show, it'd be more accurate for her character if she were all about staying. She'd literally the type to say "fukk going back out there... i'm staying here."

Naw I don't think she would stay in Woodbury . They are acting shady from jump and won't let her leave or get her weapons posting guards at the door no privacy and a women always has the possibility of rape. Rick and the team weren't like that in the comic when she met them .

If you think about it the soldiers would have been a danger to his whole setup. They not gonna follow orders from some Jim Jones wannabe and could damn sure take over all of Woodbury if they wanted to. They're not a bunch of soft civilians that just gonna fall in line and do what he says. The Gov was smart ass fukk for killing them and taking all their resources.

He commands his own world now, everything else gets thrown in the bushes :birdman: BTW I love how the show went in a totally different direction with the Gov as far as appearance goes.

yeah they already had a ranking officer and a civilian with handgun trying to boss them around would have been a bad situation....

I'm just a little concerned that during a zombie apocalypse a company of trained soldiers don't even have any type of perimeter or spotters setup. You would think they would be extra alert in a situation like this.

I think Michonne being more skeptical of Woodbury and The Governor is a natural reaction for her. She spent a lot of time alone (seemingly her preference) before hooking up with Andrea so she would be a bit less accepting of this situation that looks too good to be true especially when one of the conditions of staying is that she not be allowed to have her sword.

Naw I don't think she would stay in Woodbury . They are acting shady from jump and won't let her leave or get her weapons posting guards at the door no privacy and a women always has the possibility of rape. Rick and the team weren't like that in the comic when she met them .

i dont think she should've been that much more skeptical than Andrea to be honest. That Michonne is seemingly being portrayed as someone who would rather be out in the wild with nothing but zombies and practically no food, no safe haven, always on the run, etc... that goes against her actual portayal. and comic shyt aside, that just goes against common sense. they don't know about the prison or any other plan b or c or d options... and really, ditching a seemingly civilized society where the women there have no real complaints.. simply because rape can theoretically still happen.. just aint a good reason at all given what the alternative is (in which a woman could still get raped anyway)

also (don't read if you aint read far in the books)
remember after the whole woodbury/prison stuff, when rick and them come across the 2nd big neighborhood and were tryna decide whether to trust the scouter who wants to take em there? Rick thought shyt was shady and too good to be true but Michonne was literally on some "fukk this shyt... i'm going." and the whole group basically c/s'd her

so i don't think she should've been on some gullible shyt but i do feel she should've been a lot more reasonable. Like, when Andrea was being optimistic about it, Michonne should've been on some "it still seems too good to be true... but i admit this is the kind of sanctuary we've been looking for.." or something along those lines.
