Y’all over thinking this. This isn’t a Tolkien novel...it’s not that deep.

It’s Stephen King, there isn’t levels to this shyt. There’s no theories or mysteries to uncover. You have to take it all at face value. And it face value the ending didn’t make sense and they added that mid credits scene so they can think of a way to extend the story later if the ratings were good.

Word. If Ralph is another Cuco, this is one of the worst shows ever lol. If they repeat the plot from this season and have El Cuco clone Holly and go commit murders, this is the worst show ever. Holly is a magical negro. Depending on where she falls on the autism spectrum, she probably pays closer attention to detail and may perceive things that people not on the spectrum do not perceive.

I was thinking about Ralph. How come only he sees ghosts and shyt? I'm not saying he is also an outsider or knew he was one but it's reminding me of some Sixth Sense shyt like he sees dead people and shyt :jbhmm:

Y’all might be on to something. Notice when they have El Cuco in the cave and then Holly starts asking questions. Ralph immediately tells her to stop as if he didn’t want anything to come out. When’s the last time a cop or detective who’s been working on a case for so long and tirelessly didn’t want answers.

Also his brief convo with El Cuco one on one indicated that he knew a lot more than what he was displaying. It could be that he was piecing things together based on what Holly told him but it seem odd.

Also he’s been the biggest skeptic from day one. We’ll see though I wouldn’t bank on it the way the series went along.

That would open up a whole different can of worms because nothing we were shown in 10 episodes even hinted at Ralph being anything other than a small town cop.

No I mean Hodges whatever the fukk his name was. The infected detective. When they were riding together and she fled
