Yup.

Dude fell in love with a prostitute.

His wife created the concept of alimony.

To counter, he signed away all of his shyt to the prostitute.

Showed signs of cancer from using an x-ray on himself for an hour a day.

No Whammies!!
The first half of the episode I was wondering why they made middle America look like such a blast from the past. Even the $0.25 entry fee, I’m like “damn these rural CaCs are really THAT poor?!?!?”

then that reveal came. :pachaha:
I have to admit, I was really confused until I noticed all the old Great Depression-era cars in the parking lot. For a while I thought El Cuco had secretly scratched a kid and was using him to catch another kid

and that damn cave .. :dahell:why in the hell would they have an endless maze cave set up (and lol at your middle America description) with no way out!!???and multiple blocked passages, That little kids could possibly get trapped in. the lady working the “door “ knew the other smaller cave opening was back there
:why: And the way that she was so lazy about it with her directions - she was like “don’t get lost back there, people get turned around :snooze:
Turned around ?? That’s the most blatant understated warning ever . Bih that’s a whole underground tunnel from hell leading to nowhere and she acts like it was a fall festival fun maze
:gucci::dwillhuh:
4 search parties- the scene when those rocks came down
:damn:

That plot line reminded me of those kids in Thailand.

Real. Talk! The police drive out their way to help him and prevent his brother from the “clone”, doppelgänger , try to keep him safe and he’s giving them his fukked up attitude the whole time. Wtf was he on??

He was on drugs, lol, smoking up in front of the cops, wasn't he buying cocaine from dealers in another episode?.

As far as the lady, it was the 1940s or some old time period, so people didn't care about safety and all that shyt. It was probably some tiny local attraction at that time, not the big attraction that it is now with all the safety barriers and maps and what not.

Great episode. How does the dead kid in the photo that the DA was looking at play into this? Can't remember that dead kid

Now that there's a new case which appears to be similar to the one that he worked on with Maitland (sp) he has to face the fact that Terry wasn't the killer (or at least accept that there's a possibility that he wasn't) in the previous case.

That's why he reached out to his widow, but she didn't answer.

It also indicates that there's another "Boogie Man" running around out there since the one that the crew is tracking is in the caves.

I'm not sure but the prosecutor seemed to understand that it's the same kind of crime with the same markings which would mean that whoever the killer was is still on the loose.

A lot of Stephen King tropes * in here, but the production, the aesthetic, the casting, the sense of dread elevate the material to a very good piece of horror. The visuals with the mask were eerie and tense, the chewing sound, the Dracula and Reinfeld dynamic of El Cuco and Jack, was all expertly crafted. Watched last week's just now, and looking forward to tonights.

*The gang of misfits coming together to defeat an evil like a sleepover in elementary school (in a small town) (with a town fair)
*The skeptic being convinced finally
*Vietnam stories
*The convict given a shot to redeem himself

We're also seeing recurring mass tragedies (e.g. cave collapse) that kill large numbers of townspeople going back years/generations associated with a monster with a supernaturally long life that periodically wakes up to kill people one at a time.

Sunday is season finale not series finale. I hope this means we are getting a season 2.

Damn good show

Was that the other PI who got shot?

They should have never left the brothers together alone or without enough of them to "keep guard"

Or they shouldn't have told the brother their plans

I saw this.. I thought for sure this was gonna be a limited series but I hear it's doing well. It's caught on out here.. this is a good ass collection of actors and actresses tho, I wonder if they got deals lined up for a S2 :ohhh:
