I have to admit, I was really confused until I noticed all the old Great Depression-era cars in the parking lot. As far as the lady, it was the 1940s or some old time period, so people didn't care about safety and all that shyt. It was probably some tiny local attraction at that time, not the big attraction that it is now with all the safety barriers and maps and what not.
Now that there's a new case which appears to be similar to the one that he worked on with Maitland (sp) he has to face the fact that Terry wasn't the killer (or at least accept that there's a possibility that he wasn't) in the previous case.

I'm not sure but the prosecutor seemed to understand that it's the same kind of crime with the same markings which would mean that whoever the killer was is still on the loose.
