I have to admit, I was really confused until I noticed all the old Great Depression-era cars in the parking lot. For a while I thought El Cuco had secretly scratched a kid and was using him to catch another kidThe first half of the episode I was wondering why they made middle America look like such a blast from the past. Even the $0.25 entry fee, I’m like “damn these rural CaCs are really THAT poor?!?!?”
then that reveal came.
and that damn cave .. why in the hell would they have an endless maze cave set up (and lol at your middle America description) with no way out!!???and multiple blocked passages, That little kids could possibly get trapped in. the lady working the “door “ knew the other smaller cave opening was back there
And the way that she was so lazy about it with her directions - she was like “don’t get lost back there, people get turned around “
Turned around ?? That’s the most blatant understated warning ever . Bih that’s a whole underground tunnel from hell leading to nowhere and she acts like it was a fall festival fun maze
4 search parties- the scene when those rocks came down
Real. Talk! The police drive out their way to help him and prevent his brother from the “clone”, doppelgänger , try to keep him safe and he’s giving them his fukked up attitude the whole time. Wtf was he on??

Now that there's a new case which appears to be similar to the one that he worked on with Maitland (sp) he has to face the fact that Terry wasn't the killer (or at least accept that there's a possibility that he wasn't) in the previous case.Great episode. How does the dead kid in the photo that the DA was looking at play into this? Can't remember that dead kid

A lot of Stephen King tropes * in here, but the production, the aesthetic, the casting, the sense of dread elevate the material to a very good piece of horror. The visuals with the mask were eerie and tense, the chewing sound, the Dracula and Reinfeld dynamic of El Cuco and Jack, was all expertly crafted. Watched last week's just now, and looking forward to tonights.
*The gang of misfits coming together to defeat an evil like a sleepover in elementary school (in a small town) (with a town fair)
*The skeptic being convinced finally
*Vietnam stories
*The convict given a shot to redeem himself
It also indicates that there's another "Boogie Man" running around out there since the one that the crew is tracking is in the caves.
this shyt got me.
Sunday is season finale not series finale. I hope this means we are getting a season 2.
