maybe you are just invested into the Matrix lore, because as someone who isn't this is ass. Turned it off an hr in. Like I said in a previous post, all the Meta stuff was overkill/not funny.

Yeah philosophical movies dont require sequels imo. Think someone else mentioned it but this felt like I was being trolled lol. There are ways to do effective Meta movies (i.e. Wes Craven new nightmare) and this wasn't it.

Lazy storytelling, flashbacking to the OG movies and slicing them into the current arc numerous times was just cheap and jarring.

If you were a casual fan or first time watcher who isn't invested in the lore then that could be confusing as hell...

What could have been a dope arc that could have been explored was the machine civil war where some machines wanted to be completely free and unbound from the Matrix and go for dolo. A rebellion within a rebellion..but we got Marvel jokes and fist bumps with Transformer bots...

Was good to see some strong Black leads in this film, that was the only saving grace...

As I am watching it again on Max, they almost made Morpheus from Harlem or flamboyant AF....

Should have left it as a trilogy and let it rest in peace...

If anything this movie is a regression, the intelligence, action, philosophic nuances, all gone from this rendition. Reloaded and Revolutions didn't feel completely disconnected from part 1 and kept most of those attributes....

This is like a fan-film with some A-lister legends....

This felt like something that should have been a made for tv spin off mini series. I made in an hr in and quit, but the hole was so deep I dont even care to see how this resolved. Me not being into the matrix I just kept thinking "who asked for this lol'.

yeah breh, like when I heard the bad reviews I thought this movie was gonna try to be too smart for its own good thus people are divided, but if anything this feel very low intelligence and cheap, like folks literally phoned in everything.

How can any OG Matrix fan like this dumpster fire? All them old flashback clips... bootleg new morpheus just made me miss the OG everytime he was on screen.

This felt like some fan made youtube mashup movie
