Trailer was....weird.

didn't invoke the cinematography/style of it's predecessors and the action sequences looked just like an action film, rather than a matrix film. didn't give me that "precision" feeling that matrix action sequences used to give me. Keanu looking like John Wick doesn't help. ultimately, I'll still be there though and give it a chance

To be fair, there have been hundreds of crazy ass action films since the OG, and bullet time is outdated so it's going to have a harder time standing out now as compared to the late 90s-early 00s.

Is it just me or does this seem a little too upbeat and silly somewhat for a series like The matrix...

It's the use of "White Rabbit" that throws off the trailer and gives it a weird tone. Should have just used a generic techno or orchestral song.

fukk yall know about Enter the Matrix on PS2 and Path of Neo on Xbox? This universe was my shyt for a solid 5 years, from 1999 till abut 2005 when they released the trilogy on box set with commentary from Dr. Cornel West.

I'll check this out in the theater. To those with complaints or on the fence about this, there was only one good/great Matrix movie anyways. None of the sequels holds a candle to the original.
