u know the wachkowsti sisters are gonna follow this pseudo feminism wave in Hollyweird. and they probably stole it from the black lady (Sophia) cause every since the first one they seem to dont know where to take this franchise writing wise. all they got is the visuals, bullet time slomo and reeves as a draw. other than people stop caring about the matrix after 1999 cause the story became stupid and matrix became just mindless action.
If people stopped caring they wouldn’t have gross as much as they did.

First is classic the others were a letdown and a result of them being too fukking greedy. Don't really see a need for this.

They weren’t being greedy. That’s the story they always wanted to tell. According to them that was the plan from jump. Now obviously the execution got away from them and the stories got way too big for their britches, but the matrix was never meant to be a one off flick. But since no one knew if it would be successful, the first movie feels like a one off.

I guess you right after Neo flies off in the first one people were salivating for a sequel its just man the story afterwards for the sequels was so blah and head scratching. After that rave scene in Zion and that Architect speech at the end people were straight confused to the point they didnt even really care about Revolutions. I'm not saying it didnt make any money it just felt like a letdown. All that for a truce felt like a cop out.

They had full creative control. They were able to do what they wanted and that’s the story they wanted to tell from jump. I’m not saying I liked all of the story even though I don’t mind reloaded at all, but that’s what they wanted to do and always had planned.

I heard they had ideas but they didn't have a full trilogy written right? I think the sequels were filmed together but I don't believe they were really written until after The Matrix, I don't know something always felt off about the third movie... I'm not sure what their plan was but it felt off
