I pick entirely on gut, intuition. Some times that gut has me switching thru a handful of players. After each week, my gut is confirmed when I see how well they individually do. And my gut becomes more educated each week. Match-Ups, are big for me, potential injuries are bigger...

Now that I have some money to play with, I'll have more teams with all of my gut players.

I need to consistently get over 200 before I start feeling myself.

I feel like someone in this thread has what it takes to win 100K... I'm all for that, that's why I don't mind sharing my strategy or my opinion.

I want ya'll to eat.

@#1 pick whats the buy-in on that millionaire contest you entered? 2.5k is an awesome payout.

As for this league, I fell short again:mjcry:
The one they advertise on ESPN and their website. I wasn't even going to sign up more than once, they said, they will give me one free with three entries so I was like :yeshrug: Little did I know that was going to be the small bankroll. :wow:

I finished just outside of the top 100 plus other comps. I was one yard from Murray from being in the top 80. I was AD being replaced Ingram or someone who produced from 6 figures. :mjcry:

All in all, not bad for the investment I made last week. I like my team much better this week. I really want to win a league for once, thecoli league would be cool but I really want one of my big investment leagues. :blessed:

I do all that.

First I pick a squad I trust then remove a player in a tough match up and add someone in a better match up. This week it was AJ Green on team 1B (my coli team). I removed him and added Marshall for team 1A. Then I make team 2A/B etc with another QB, some guys I trust, and some potential sleepers. I made six entries so it was 3 pairs. What happens is I make money with my first team but the risky teams don't bring anything in.

My new strategy is to trust team one and swap one player or two players. I wanted to put Olsen and Diggs on a team. Instead of being on team 2 I should have swapped out my team 1 TE and WR for them. Had I done that I would have got into that $500-5000 range. I ID'ed everyone who had a huge game except Watson and Miami's D. I avoided those who didn't like Snead and Lacy.

I'm going to make more entries so I vary team 1 enough.
I think Diggs and Olsen are reliable players. Especially Olsen. The Eagles do a shyt job of defending TE's. Donnell for example was getting open all day and I seen Jenkins get so many clean routes off which Eli failed to utilize. While the Eagles isn't soft, their lack of ability to defend even average WR's is scary especially if Cam Newton gets going. They must make the pocket uncomfortable for Cam and keep him there. With that said, I look forward to the Matthews-Norman matchup. I want to see if Bradford learned from his bad plays v. Carolina or it can get ugly and fast. Cam Newton might be strong a fantasy option. Remember, this is a primetime game.

Diggs is a Split end and his production depends if AD is healthy. If he is, expect him to continue to get good looks.

I look at the schedule, see the match ups, and go to DK to put it together. If I can't afford players I do research (check injuries, stats, weather) all week. I check the experts but mostly do the opposite of what they say. Like you, I had Dion Lewis but dropped him because he showed up on the injury report on Thursday. I put Ivory in even though the Skins run defense is rated high. The Jets were home and coming off a bye so I took him.

If you still have a ticket it's free or $3 per entry.

I like Cam but I don't trust his help at all not even Olsen. He's had a 1-11 and 2-28 game. TE's are the most unreliable position. The Eagles will likely key on him and limit his output. Norman locks down Matthews.

Diggs having two straight big games tells me he's going to be a part of the defensive game plan AP or not. I don't trust this week.

I feel you. Right now, I have money on the NBA. I would be kicking everyone's ass right now but I fukked up not knowing Myles Turner is not going to play tonight. This might be the night my girl ends up with more points than me. I hope I can recover with my other players.

I feel I had the most success with nba bc for the most part guys do what they are supposed to do..

What I mean is in football they be in the red zone and the full back or back up tight end gets the touch down etc

Took a L. I am waiting until the 2nd week of the NBA season to play for anything more than a Quarter. Seeing how some of the players built their team was good. But really, I was fooled thinking that the rookies were going to continue to get PT. That sucks.

That's one thing I don't get...If someone is putting you on, give that man his credit....

We should be out to help each other, it doesn't hurt you if you use the link on something you're genuinely interested in...

Don't no body wanna help another man to come up these days...that's the wrong mentality..
