I don't think the show will have Butcher doing what he did at the end of the comic, because:
1) Way too dark and unsympathetic
2) The motive for ehat he did was based on certain characters using V and most of them don't use it in the show, so. No way excuse.

Most shows dip around season four/five. You can only raise the stakes so high before it begins to veer.

Even this show I wonder if they continue after season five.

- I predict that soldier boy and homelander are going to temporarily be on the same side and then homelander will screw him over and kill him on some "there can only be one alpha" type deal. Both of them are terrible and I can't imagine them getting along honestly. Plus homelander is obsessed with his image and soldier boy is a mass murdering terrorist essentially. He wants to appease to the public. Plus soldier boy is a threat and can nullify powers.

They definitely aren't setting up all his past trauma for no reason. But he's definitely not on soilder boy's level. He's more along with kimiko.

But then what about MM? There's got to be some kind of resolution for him as well, right?
